Stepping into Aman New York really makes you feel like you're living it up in Manhattan. You're right on Park Avenue, surrounded by Dior and Chanel, and staying in one of the most beautiful hotels in the city.

From the moment you pull up, the experience starts. There's someone there to open your door, hold an umbrella if it's raining, and walk you into the hotel even though it's literally just a few steps. When you first walk in, there's a simple check-in desk, but once that's done, they take you up to the actual lobby on the fourth floor.
The entire design of Aman is meant to feel calm, sophisticated, and very private. Only hotel guests and residence members have access to the lobby and amenities, which makes it feel like you're part of this quiet world right in the middle of Manhattan that nobody else knows about.
I was there on a Sunday and Monday, so unfortunately I missed the jazz lounge (which I've heard is amazing), but it's open the rest of the week. After getting settled, we went to the lounge and grabbed a drink at the bar. The bartender even gave my baby the cutest little silicone cup, which was such a thoughtful touch and honestly meant a lot.
Since I was traveling with my baby, they upgraded us to the Premier Sanctuary Suite and it was insane. The bathroom alone felt like its own room, big enough to fit a crib, all my baby's things, and still have plenty of space. Every detail felt thought out and intentional.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the room had a cozy lounge area with a fireplace, which made it feel even more special. And the view? It just felt expensive. Looking out the window and seeing the Louis Vuitton suitcase building was one of those "only in New York" moments.
Everything about the stay felt unreal. Aman really lives up to its name and reputation, you can feel it in every detail. Honestly, I don't think I could go back to New York and stay anywhere else without comparing it. It completely changed my experience of staying in NYC.
